Firm settings → Add client → Add a financial year & upload the trial balance → Map ledgers → Fill any schedules → Preview → Generate → Pay ₹50 & download. Most steps auto-skip when they don't apply.
-
Set up your firm (once)
Open Firm settings and enter your firm name, FRN, membership number and address. Add your signatory(ies), upload your logo and signature, and pick your house style — report unit (actual / thousands / lakhs / crores) and how schedules are numbered (1,2,3 / A,B,C / I,II,III). This branding flows onto every report you generate.
-
Add a client
From Clients, add the entity and choose its constitution (Proprietorship, Partnership Firm, LLP, HUF, Private/Public Limited Company, or OPC). Upload the client's GST certificate or Udyam and we auto-fill the name, address, PAN, GSTIN and constitution — or just type the name and edit the rest.
-
Add a financial year & upload the trial balance
Create the year and upload the trial balance. We read Tally (XML or Excel export), plain Excel (.xls / .xlsx / .xlsb) and Genius Dr/Cr trial balances. Tell us the previous-year basis — normal (comparatives available; upload the prior-year detailed TB for a party-wise comparative), first year, or 44AD (no comparative).
-
Map the ledgers
Each ledger is auto-classified to the correct Schedule III head. Anything the tool wasn't sure about is flagged for you to confirm — it's still kept side-correct so the statement always ties. GST/VAT balances are placed automatically (debit → asset, credit → Duties & Taxes).
-
Fill any schedules that apply
Optional schedules appear only when relevant, and each is its own annexure in the report:
Depreciation — opening/closing are pre-filled from the TB; you add additions/deductions. Income-tax rates are auto-assigned by asset; companies get the Companies Act (Schedule II) gross/net-block format.Closing stock (item-wise) — value each item; it reconciles to the declared total.Deferred Tax (DTA/DTL) (companies) — enter timing differences & rate; the schedule computes the deferred tax and the year's movement.Related Party (companies) — parties & relationship, transactions and closing balances (AS 18).Ageing (Trade Receivables & Payables) — the 2021 Schedule III analysis. Type the bands yourself, or let the tool compute them from the client's own books (see below).Ageing without typing a single figure. On the Ageing screen you can upload either a bill-wise Outstanding report (Tally “Bills Receivable/Payable”, Busy “Bill by Bill Outstanding”, Marg or Miracle outstanding, Zoho “AR / AP Ageing Details”, Vyapar party statement) — one file, and the buckets are exact — or the Day Book for the last three years (Tally XML or Excel, Busy, Marg, Miracle, Zoho Journal Report, MCS print file). A day book doesn't record which invoice a receipt settled, so those bands are worked out on a FIFO basis, oldest bill first. Either way every ledger still ties to the trial balance, and you can edit any figure before you save. Three years is exactly the right amount to upload: with a 31-March year-end it makes the opening balance fall precisely into “More than 3 years”.
Analytical Ratios and Variance Analysis are generated automatically for companies — no data entry needed. Schedules you don't fill are simply left out.

Check the draft Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss. Both sides must tie — the tool won't let you generate an out-of-balance statement. Add footnotes on any schedule if you wish.
-
Generate the report
Generate produces a formula-driven Excel (every total is a live

Frequently asked questions
What files can I upload as the trial balance?
My closing stock isn't in the trial balance. What do I do?
Do I have to pick the depreciation class and rate?
What's different for a Company vs an LLP vs a Firm/Proprietor/HUF?
Why is my report watermarked, and how do I remove it?
Is the Excel actually formula-driven?
=SUM() of its lines, the Balance Sheet / P&L sub-totals and grand totals compute in-sheet, and the face pulls each schedule's total by reference — so if you tweak a figure, everything recalculates and continues to tie.
